Hogle Zoo

Last week we had Avery's 6 month eye checkup at Primary Children's. Everything went well and she is actually improving a lot. We were pretty excited. We decided to make a day of it and meet Chris and Karie at Hogle Zoo for the rest of the afternoon. When we pulled into the zoo, Chris pulled in right behind us. Perfect timing. It was such a great day with all the animals out.

Me and my girls.
Karie, Hudson, Tristan, & Marisa
The girls loved seeing the new baby elephant, Zuri
Marisa was super sweet the entire time. Being a little angel baby!

Avery Mae

This little girl is her Daddy's daughter. She will sleep for 12 plus hours if given the chance and will not stand for anyone to bug her especially Mylee. If she does not like something she will refuse to do it but when she falls in love with something you can't get her to stop. She loves her baby sister and sings to her daily. It's the sweetest thing I've ever heard.

Smiley Mylee or The Monster

There are 2 names that describe this child to perfection. They are 'Smiley Mylee' since she is the happiest child I've ever know and 'The Blonde Monster' because she is pure craziness. I lose her on a daily basis. Luckily she can be found at only 2 houses, the Wursten's or the Cole's. She consistently walks right into the Wursten's house to find whatever she needs. She will find Jayden and say, 'Let's have a treat' or she will find Bret recently out of the shower and ask him to wipe her nose, and always find the Wursten women to carry her around, feed her, and play with her.

Getting Married

Avery turned 5 this last week and suddenly looks so big to us. Every time we go to Grandpa and Grandma Anderson's house we have to drive by the temple. And every time we drive by Avery says, "That's where I'll where my white dress and marry Dylan. We hope some day that really happens. Here is Avery and Dylan at her 5 year birthday party. Don't they just look like a match made in Heaven.

Blessing Day

On Sunday we blessed our little Miss Riss (her nickname given by Daddy). Tristan did an awesome job and Marisa was a little angel through the entire thing. It turned out to be a great day. She is starting to smile and coo at us so the pictures turned out so fun.
Granny Anne made her blessing dress. I could just die over how adorable it turned out. Good job Granny!

Marisa Joy

Finally I am posting some pictures of my baby. I have to face it that I'm just straight up lazy lately. Anyway these are pictures of Marisa when she was about a month old. She hated getting them done so there are no pictures of the cute tutu that she is wearing but we at least got a couple good shots.

Marisa Joy Anderson

Coming in at a fatness of 9lbs. and 20 inches long. This is our new little sweetheart addition. Marisa Joy Anderson. We had her April 2nd at 1:47 AM. Everything went super well. The epidural took a long time to kick in because he didn't give me enough according to my height but once in did I was loving life.
She's got this fat little face but skinny skinny legs and body. Don't know where she holds the 9lbs but believe me she does.

Her sisters are really excited! When they came to see us Mylee said, "Who that mom" I said "That is your baby sister, Marisa" She said "Oh" Than she looks up at me and scrunches her nose and gives me the thumbs up sign and says "Good job Mom" It was perfect timing and as usual for Mylee, seriously funny!

Finished Product

I finally finished all my fun projects and am pretty excited how they turned out. The final touches are of course thanks to Richelle. Don't know what I'd do without you Richey. This is the baby's room. Hopefully that's what we end up naming her huh! The dots turned out super fun.
Avery's room needs a bit more decor but she loves having a big bed and a big room. Thanks Karie and mom for helping me paint when I couldn't stand it any longer.

How many beds do you sleep in?

As for me I slept in 4 different spots last night. It wasn't just due to being nearly 9 months pregnant. It all started with putting Mylee to bed and she said in her sweet voice, "Lay by me mommy" How do you say no to that. I snuggled up to her in her little twin bed. Of course I fell asleep by her. Than I woke up and went to sleep in my bed till about 1 am. I woke to Mylee crying and once again saying, "Lay by me" so of course I did and fell asleep again. About an hour later Avery woke up coughing so I laid by her rubbing her back and fell asleep again. When I finally woke up I made way to my bed once again. At about 4 I was aching from being so hugely pregnant that I ended up on the couch where I slept the rest of the night till about 6:30. That's when Mylee came up and said, "Mommy I waked up I want a baba (which is chocolate milk) and watch Monsters." She is totally on a Monsters kick. I have to be grateful that I fall asleep fast right? I now need a nap any suggestions which bed to sleep in?

Too Funny

Avery decided to paint my toenails for me since I can't reach that far. If by chance I go into labor I will have shades of reds, pinks, purples, and blues. They look awesome.

Conversation:
Tristan: Avery how was school?
Avery: Good
T: What did you learn
Av: I can't remember
(She can never remember)
T: What letter did you learn?
Av: y
T: Avery what letter did you learn?
Av: y
T: Tell me what letter you learned
Av: (A little louder) y
T: Because I want to know
Av: Dad not 'why' I learned the letter 'Y'
T: OHHHH
I was crying laughing at that one.

The bigger the better

I am sticking with the motto, "The Bigger the Better." I think I have to feel this way because my husband makes such big babies. I like to blame it on him that I feel ginormous. I'm on the countdown. 7 weeks left!!

Superbowl

Superbowl party at the Wurstens with the Lambs. Probably one of the funnest superbowl parties we've been too, included yummy food, fun friends, great game, and top off the night with a Just Dance on the Wii. HILARIOUS!

My girls love the Wursten girls. We'd be lost without them.
Shaynna and Carson have some serious moves. There were moments when I was crying I was laughing so hard.
The girls dancing their hearts out. They played forever. I'm completely exhausted after only 2 songs.

Sick Mylee

Mylee has got to be the worst sick kid. She won't lay in your arms and snuggle you she just roams the house and cries. It's so heartbreaking sad. Last night I gave her a bath about midnight and for the life of me cannot remember how many baths she had taken that day or how many times I've washed her blanket due to throwing up. While in the bath I couldn't help but take a picture of her sweet sad face but than of course she loves the camera so she had to give me her award winning smile. TOO CUTE!

St. George

We just got back from a trip to St. George. We went with the Strebel family who are totally a blast to hang out with. We went feeding crazy attacking ducks. Britney was a little afraid. We went swimming, shopping and out to eat a lot. It was a super fun getaway.

Avery kicked her flip flop into the water. Luckily daddy carries golf clubs everywhere and was able to fish it out. I was so hoping that T and Bob would fall in but Avery constantly reminds me that her daddy is the strongest and can do anything.

Avery next to the killer ducks. The moment we got out of the car they were swarming us. I guess they are used to getting fed.

First Timer

This year our stake had a ski night and Tristan wanted Avery to learn. I was a bit hesitant but she stayed out there for 2 hours and actually liked it. If anyone knows Avery she'd rather be left alone so we were excited that she tried it out.
